Electrical Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX, USA; up to 10% travel.

Base salary: $70,000–$90,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Develop electrical distribution and emergency generator system designs and documentation in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Design lighting, electrical, and fire alarm systems for commercial, residential, institutional, healthcare, and educational facilities.
• Perform electrical load calculations and select and size equipment.
• Edit electrical system specifications and review equipment submittals for contract compliance.
• Survey existing buildings and identify electrical systems and components.
• Observe electrical construction work and collaborate with project team members and leaders.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience designing electrical systems for different facility types.
• Experience with commercial, residential, and institutional projects.
• Hands-on experience with current Revit, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and engineering calculation or performance simulation software.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Austin, TX.
