What you will do

• Develop electrical distribution and emergency generator system designs in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Design lighting, electrical, and fire alarm systems for various facility types.
• Perform electrical load calculations and size appropriate equipment.
• Edit electrical system specifications and review equipment submittals for contract compliance.
• Conduct site surveys of existing buildings to identify electrical components.
• Monitor electrical construction work in progress and report on findings.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical systems design for commercial, residential, and institutional projects.
• Proficiency with latest versions of Revit, MS Office, and engineering simulation software.
• Must be based in or able to work from Austin, TX.
