Senior Risk Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Perform risk identification, assessments, and monitoring in alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
• Manage incidents and breaches via Jira, including registration, status updates, and customer notifications.
• Support the delivery of assurance activities, including RCSA, walkthroughs, and control testing.
• Prepare and update the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and coordinate disaster recovery testing.
• Drive improvements in risk reporting and visualization using PowerBi to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executives to resolve systemic issues and embed risk practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise, operational, or cybersecurity risk, or internal audit, preferably in financial services.
• Must be based in Sydney, Australia to support the hybrid work model.
• Demonstrated exposure to risk management frameworks and sound working knowledge of ASIC requirements.
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, Commerce, Risk, IT, or Audit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, PowerBi, Jira, and Notion.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as FRM, CISA, CA, CPA, or CIA.
• Prior experience in Forex and CFD trading environments.
• Exposure to ICT, cybersecurity, or IT Audit.
• Experience with GRC platforms like Riskonnect or CAMMS.
