What you will do

• Analyze incoming insurance claims and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
• Investigate policy coverage, liability, and damage assessments to determine the appropriate resolution.
• Communicate with policyholders, agents, and adjusters to gather information and provide status updates.
• Negotiate and settle claims within established authority limits and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain thorough claim records and identify/report potential fraudulent activity.
• Collaborate with underwriting and legal departments on complex or disputed claims.

Requirements

• Active insurance adjuster's license in resident state.
• 1-3 years of insurance claims experience, including Property, Casualty, and Liability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Nice to have

• Experience with MTC (Motor Truck Cargo), Builder's Risk, Yacht, and/or Recreational Marine.
