Team Lead Solutions Consultant (Financial Services): Hands-on player-coach leading pre-sales solutions consulting for major FinServ accounts while building out ’s Financial Services vertical with an accent on deal execution, executive-level technical credibility, and regulated-industry security/compliance positioning. Focus on coaching Solutions Consultants, running end-to-end discovery-to-exec presentations, and creating reusable sales plays and frameworks without an existing playbook.
Location: Austin, Texas (based in office); travel up to 50% at peak times
Salary: $121,000–$159,000/year; OTE $173,000–$227,000/year

What you will do
- Lead and coach 2 Solutions Consultants initially, including deal involvement, direct feedback, and career conversations.
- Own major FinServ deals end-to-end: discovery, solution design, demos, POVs, security reviews, and executive presentations.
- Build credibility across enterprise buying teams (architecture, engineering, security, compliance, marketing ops, and C-suite) and handle complex escalations.
- Position AI and advanced capabilities for buyers with deep technical and regulatory requirements.
- Create FinServ sales plays and discovery frameworks, and build reusable assets (reference architectures, demo environments, security/compliance positioning, objection handling, talk tracks).
- Partner with Product, Security, Professional Services, and partners to deliver deals correctly and define segment growth with Sales and Marketing.
Requirements
- People management experience or a proven track record leading teams, mentoring ICs, and driving outcomes through others.
- Strong written and verbal communication with executive presence and follow-through.
- Ability to break down ambiguous, cross-functional challenges into clear options, tradeoffs, and next steps.
- Experience selling into enterprise accounts with sophisticated technical buying teams and rigorous evaluation processes, ideally in regulated industries.
- Domain knowledge in two or more of: AI, SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Marketing Analytics, Data & Architecture, Security & Compliance, or Programming (including HTML).
- Based in Austin, Texas office; travel up to 50% at peak times.
