Salary: $170,000 - $225,000 base (San Francisco/New York)

What you will do
- Act as a solutions/sales engineer to build trust with prospects and customers and drive rapid implementation and adoption.
- Design and implement pre-sales solutions, including analytics, documentation, processes, and technical infrastructure that speed up deal cycles.
- Guide customer business and technical teams on API and SDK implementation best practices to reduce timelines and enable broader rollouts.
- Triage and resolve technical issues between prospects/customers and internal teams.
- Optimize internal workflows using tools and data from Gong, Pylon, Kapa, Datadog, Amplitude, and AI-powered self-service solutions.
- Travel occasionally (about once per month) for strategic customers, company meetings, or industry events.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience as a sales/solution engineer, solutions architect, support engineer, or equivalent (startup environment experience preferred).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills for working with customer teams.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge with APIs, including troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of crypto and fintech, including blockchain technology, digital assets, financial regulations, and use cases.
- Technical skills including coding, API/SDK work, and AI (Claude/Codex) and/or automation experience.
