What you will do

  • Lead a small team of engineers and manage the architectural direction of a significant area of the codebase.
  • Drive the development process toward continuous deployment with frequent releases to hirify.global.com.
  • Shape and promote best practices for coding standards, automation, and continuous integration.
  • Collaborate daily using a tech stack including Ruby on Rails, React, Node.js, Elasticsearch, and SQL.
  • Influence overall code quality and development workflows within a supportive, low-politics environment.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience leading web application development teams.
  • 2+ years of experience guiding Scrum-based teams (e.g., as Scrum Master or Tech Lead).
  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience with JavaScript/React, Node.js, MVC/Rails, and SQL/NoSQL.
  • Strong project management and communication skills with a team-first leadership approach.
