What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of 6–10 engineers, guiding end-to-end technical execution.
• Drive technical vision and strategy across distributed systems and large-scale platforms.
• Own system architecture and make critical technical decisions for enterprise products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable digital solutions.
• Establish engineering best practices, observability, and technical debt management.
• Ensure secure coding practices and platform reliability, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Work authorization: authorized to work in the United States (open to H-1B transfers, TN status, and STEM OPT candidates with at least 2 years of remaining eligibility).
• Minimum 9 years of experience as a software engineer and/or manager; minimum 6 years as an engineer.
• 6+ years of programming experience in at least one modern language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Experience with distributed systems and technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, API gateways, SQL/NoSQL/graph databases, caching, and serverless platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and secure coding/platform security principles.
