What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the architecture, design, and deployment of scalable AI, reporting, and data analysis software.
• Manage a high-performing team of Software Developers, Data Scientists, and BI Specialists.
• Lead the delivery of AI-enabled product features and advocate for AI adoption and literacy across the organization.
• Design and deliver reporting platforms and dashboards to provide actionable business insights via SQL and automated workflows.
• Own and prioritize the AI team roadmap to align technical execution with business goals and customer needs.
• Establish consistent standards for data quality, metric definitions, and governance to ensure trusted reporting.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, BI, or data science, with 2+ years in a leadership role managing people or technical delivery.
• Practical experience delivering AI-enabled products, reporting platforms, or BI tools with a focus on scalability and reliability.
• Strong understanding of applied AI development, including LLM integrations, agentic workflows, and AI-native SDLC practices.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing, data modelling, and BI architecture.
• Post-secondary degree in Computing Science, AI, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with C#, .NET 7+, Vue, TypeScript/JavaScript, MS SQL Server, and Entity Framework Core.
• Familiarity with Scrum, Agile delivery practices, and Azure Boards.
• Experience with organizational change management and AI adoption programs.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and automated reporting workflows.
