What you will do
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including SaaS, cloud services, NDAs, and statements of work.
- Provide legal counsel on data privacy, security, and artificial intelligence matters.
- Develop and maintain standard templates for recurring commercial transactions.
- Collaborate with sales, data privacy, security, and product teams to ensure alignment with company processes.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting cloud-based software solutions.
- Support initiatives to improve contracting standards, playbooks, and best practices.
Requirements
- Law degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in any US State or Territory.
- Must have the right to reside and work within the United States.
- 2+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in an in-house role.
- Strong skills in contract drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence in a customer-facing role with strong conversational skills.
