TL;DR

Director, Monetization Strategy (SaaS): Setting and driving Figma's monetization strategy across pricing, packaging, and consumption models with an accent on AI credit systems and business model evolution. Focus on driving high-impact strategic decisions for executive stakeholders and building scalable revenue frameworks.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote or Hubs in San Francisco and New York)

Salary: $258,000 - $348,000 USD

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end monetization strategy, including pricing and packaging initiatives.
  • Lead and develop a high-leverage team of strategic operators.
  • Partner with executive leadership (CFO, CPO, CEO) to align on strategic direction and outcomes.
  • Define monetization for emerging areas, including AI-powered experiences and consumption-based offerings.
  • Collaborate with Product, Finance, and GTM teams to translate strategies into commercial outcomes.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in strategy consulting, PE ops, biz ops, or product strategy within high-growth tech.
  • Proven success driving executive decisions on complex and ambiguous business challenges.
  • Experience shaping monetization strategies, pricing, and business model design.
  • Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience developing usage-based or consumption-based pricing strategies.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills to support investment planning.
  • Proficiency in SQL or similar tools for evaluating business performance.
