TL;DR

Director, Product Management (SaaS): Leading product pricing, metering, and monetization strategy for an intelligent observability platform with an accent on consumption-based pricing models and financial modeling. Location: Must be based in the USA (Arlington, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Phoenix, or Portland).

Salary: $222,000 - $278,000 USD

What you will do

  • Design and optimize list prices, discount curves, and price multiples for existing and emerging technologies, including AI capabilities.
  • Build comprehensive financial models to analyze COGS, revenue projections, and gross margin impact.
  • Develop and execute transition frameworks to migrate customers from legacy pricing models.
  • Own the effectiveness of the Compute Capacity Units (CCU) meter to drive adoption and revenue expansion.
  • Influence cross-functional partners and executives to align pricing strategy with customer value.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience in SaaS or cloud infrastructure.
  • 6+ years of experience leading product managers.
  • Demonstrated ownership of consumption-based pricing, monetization, or billing systems at enterprise scale.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA (visa sponsorship is not available).
  • Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to balance quantitative analysis and user empathy.
  • Exceptional communication skills for articulating vision to technical and executive stakeholders.
