Network Engineer (Azure)

TL;DR

Network Engineer (Azure/Palo Alto): Designing, implementing, and optimizing network infrastructure for healthcare services across multiple locations and Azure cloud with an accent on network security and cloud integration. Location: Hybrid remote in Eagle, ID. Relocation to Eagle, ID is required before starting work.

What you will do

• Design and manage robust network security solutions using Palo Alto products and Aruba Clearpass.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including high availability firewalls and load balancers.
• Implement and configure network monitoring tools using Solarwinds and Netbox.
• Design scalable network architectures for over 260 locations utilizing BGP for efficient routing.
• Drive the replacement of Sophos firewalls with Palo Alto firewalls at edge locations and core Azure infrastructure.
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer with expertise in Palo Alto and Azure technologies.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPN technologies, and firewall configurations.
• Experience designing networks across multiple regions.
• Must be able to relocate to Eagle, ID before starting work.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications: CCNP, Microsoft Azure Network Engineer (AZ-700), or Azure Solutions Architect.
• Experience with automation tools.
