Senior Network Engineer (Azure/Palo Alto)

Healthcare services organization supporting senior living, home health, hospice, and home care operations through a centralized service center.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage network security solutions using Palo Alto products and Aruba ClearPass.
• Architect and maintain Microsoft Azure network infrastructure, including highly available firewalls and load balancers.
• Design scalable network architectures supporting more than 260 locations and optimize routing with BGP.
• Configure monitoring and network management tools including SolarWinds and NetBox.
• Replace Sophos firewalls with Palo Alto firewalls at edge locations and in the Azure core infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, document network environments, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven Network Engineer experience with Palo Alto and Azure technologies.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, security principles, routing, switching, VPN technologies, and firewall configuration.
• Experience designing networks across multiple regions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• CCNP certification.
• Microsoft Azure Network Engineer (AZ-700) certification.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience with automation tools.
