Salary: $130,000 - $155,000 annually

What you will do

• Own the accuracy and integrity of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounting close processes.
• Manage key accounting functions including accrued expenses, ASC 350 (internally-used software), and ASC 340 (sales commissions).
• Develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
• Lead AI automation projects to reduce manual efforts and accelerate the month-end close cycle.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Technical Accounting, and Procurement teams to align on accounting standards.
• Supervise and coach staff members to ensure consistent execution of key processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience in the SaaS/Tech industry.
• Must be able to work normal business hours in the PST time zone.
• Strong technical understanding of ASC 350 and ASC 340.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proven experience identifying and implementing AI-driven accounting tools.
• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred).
• CPA certification.
• Experience with NetSuite.
