What you will do
- Direct the departmental workforce and coordinate manufacturing operations for critical high-volume lines (EPS, RPS, or Shipping).
- Organize and assign work to optimize production costs and ensure the highest quality of workmanship.
- Manage schedules, administer discipline, and maintain strict conformance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing personnel regarding tool design, production methods, and applications.
- Maintain security of buildings, equipment, and personnel while ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Act in a Production Manager or Senior Management capacity during temporary vacancies or absences.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a production environment.
- BA in a business-related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for interacting with hourly staff and management.
- Mechanical competence and deep knowledge of safety-conscious practices.
- Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted and stand or walk for 8-12 hours daily in an industrial environment.
- Ability to work the night shift: Sunday through Tuesday 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM CST and alternating Saturdays.
