Plant Superintendent (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage, direct, and control all manufacturing personnel activities.
• Schedule production activities and communicate lead times to customer service.
• Oversee hiring of direct labor and maintain cross-training matrices.
• Ensure product quality and cost performance standards are met.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts including LEAN, RCFA, RCM, and ISO.
• Oversee assigned capital projects and interface with other company facilities.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 8-10 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the paper industry.
• Proven supervisory and leadership abilities.
• Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
