TL;DR
Director, Process Improvement (Healthcare): Leading a team in implementing process improvement opportunities and scaling operations within Insurance Operations with an accent on regulatory compliance and contractual goal achievement. Focus on developing operating plans, executing strategic initiatives to optimize workflows, and driving cross-functional collaboration to maintain market competitiveness.

Location: Must be based in New York City, NY. This role requires a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week, including mandatory attendance on Thursdays.

Salary: $180,504–$236,911 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of managers and their direct reports.
  • Develop and continuously improve foundational operational processes.
  • Ensure operational compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation agencies.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to surface data, process, and technology issues through proactive monitoring.
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop end-to-end strategies that leverage operational insights to scale.
  • Own team vision, strategy, quarterly goal setting, and multi-year roadmaps.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare strategy and operations or a related field.
  • 6+ years of leadership experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in program management, process design, or implementation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4+ years of commensurate experience.
  • Ability to work from the New York City office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience in Health Insurance or Management Consulting with a focus on healthcare.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification/experience.
  • Financial modeling experience.
