GPS Continuous Improvement Leader (Lean Six Sigma)

Location: Deerfield, Illinois, United States; hybrid workplace with a required minimum number of days onsite

Salary: $232,000–$319,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentives

What you will do

• Lead the enterprise GPS continuous improvement agenda and connect strategic priorities with value creators and measurable business outcomes.
• Manage a team of managers delivering enterprise-wide projects, cross-functional programs, and end-to-end process transformations.
• Apply GPS, Lean, Six Sigma, kaizen, daily management, leader standard work, visual management, and structured problem-solving practices.
• Partner with senior business and functional leaders to prioritize opportunities, remove barriers, and accelerate transformation.
• Build continuous improvement capability through training, coaching, workshops, kaizen events, and leadership development.
• Establish governance, KPIs, dashboards, operating cadences, and standard work to realize and sustain benefits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in transformation, operational excellence, continuous improvement, or enterprise process improvement.
• Experience leading enterprise transformation programs, large-scale cross-functional initiatives, managers, and high-performing teams in a matrixed global organization.
• Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, kaizen, structured problem solving, change management, and operating system deployment.
• Strong executive presence, communication, strategic judgment, financial acumen, business acumen, and benefits realization experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Master Black Belt certification or equivalent advanced continuous improvement credentials.
• Danaher, Fortive, or another mature business system background.
• Experience in regulated, global, or enterprise shared services environments.
