What you will do

• Prepare and review external financial reporting deliverables (quarterly and annual statements) in full compliance with US GAAP.
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in coordination with accounting teams.
• Conduct technical accounting research for complex transactions, including stock-based compensation, derivatives, and lease accounting.
• Support the implementation and day-to-day operation of Workiva for financial reporting and compliance.
• Coordinate audit requests and serve as a key point of contact for external auditors.
• Design and implement internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and maintain accounting policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and a CPA license (or actively pursuing certification).
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including experience in public accounting.
• Expertise in US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with Workiva or similar financial reporting platforms and ERP systems.
• Experience supporting SOX compliance programs.
• Must be based in or able to work from the San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA offices (at least 25% of the time).

Nice to have

• SEC reporting experience.
• Proficiency with Workday Financials.
• Experience with Python or SQL for reporting automation.
