Senior Accountant

Location: Remote in the United States, premium for Bay Area candidates (Redwood City, CA)

Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 (depending on experience, qualifications, and location premium)

What you will do

• Assist with daily/monthly financial transactions including AP, AR, payroll support, and expense tracking.
• Maintain accurate records, support reconciliations, and prepare financial reports/dashboards.
• Collaborate with external accountants/auditors on tax, reporting, and compliance for international entities.
• Act as utility player across operations (HR, legal, procurement, facilities, IT), designing workflows and managing projects.
• Own special initiatives, implement tools/systems, maintain SOPs, and support onboarding/offboarding.
• Step into cross-functional issues, unblock departments, and drive alignment to reduce friction.

Requirements

• 5+ years in operations, finance, accounting, or generalist role.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting workflows (Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
• Comfortable with spreadsheets, data analysis, and project management tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Versatile, proactive, detail-oriented, systems thinker with high integrity and adaptability.
