What you will do

• Collaborate in an Agile team to analyze requirements and write high-quality, testable code aligned with the Agile Definition of Done.
• Participate in design and code reviews with other engineers.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies (iteration planning, refinement, sprint reviews) and deliver committed stories/tasks within sprints.
• Improve efficiency, security, and product quality using best practices.
• Support customers through support issues, demonstrations, and feedback sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years of mainframe software development experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience.
• Heavy experience with IBM Assembler on z/OS systems.
• Experience with source code management tools such as Endevor and GitHub.
• Experience with Agile software development methodology.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Open to learning new technologies and languages and continuously innovating.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL on mainframe databases such as IDMS, Datacom, or DB2.
• Knowledge of reading system dumps and working with TSO/ISPF.
• Experience with one or more: Metal C, COBOL, ISPF, REXX, JCL, C, C+.
• Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira and Rally.
• Familiarity with QA and DevOps concepts (test automation, CI/CD).
• Advanced debugging skills using tools like XDC.
