Salary: $75,000 — $180,000 USD

What you will do

• Conduct in-depth research of medical literature, clinical trial data, and competitive intelligence to identify therapeutic insights.
• Translate complex scientific concepts into clear and engaging narratives for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients.
• Develop medical communication materials, including slide decks, manuscripts, abstracts, and digital content.
• Support the identification and engagement of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through interviews and research stimuli.
• Provide strategic medical guidance to clients and contribute to the development of new business pitches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional scientific, creative, and account teams to integrate medical strategy across projects.

Requirements

• Degree in a scientific or medical field (e.g., biology, chemistry, pharmacy).
• 3+ years of experience in medical communications or medical strategy within the healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with HCP and DTC marketing regulations and guidelines.
• Proven ability to translate scientific information for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Must be based in New York, NY.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as PhD, PharmD, or MD.
• Previous experience working within an agency environment.
• Specific experience with KOL identification and engagement.
