What you will do

• Develop and execute growth strategies for the firm's water infrastructure practice.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for water transmission, distribution, and storage projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with municipal agencies and utility districts to drive business development.
• Lead the planning, design, and execution of complex municipal water infrastructure projects.
• Mentor engineers and project managers while fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and profitability to ensure technical excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 12+ years of progressively responsible experience in water infrastructure engineering and project management.
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and manage client relationships.
• Demonstrated success in municipal water infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass background and driving record checks.

Nice to have

• Experience with water treatment, water rights, and sewer collection systems.
• Knowledge of stormwater, drainage, and regional utility planning.
• Familiarity with funding and grant programs.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as InfoWater, WaterGEMS, or EPANET.
