Project Engineer - Site Design/Municipal

Location: Remote or hybrid within Nebraska, with travel to Nebraska office locations, client meetings, and job sites as needed

What you will do

• Prepare planning, design, and engineering documents for mixed-use, commercial, residential, municipal, industrial, sports, school, and other site development projects.
• Perform process design calculations, cost estimates, and economic analyses for project alternatives.
• Develop or support project scopes, schedules, budgets, initiation paperwork, and progress reporting.
• Coordinate design work with internal teams, professional and technical staff, project managers, and clients.
• Maintain project records, communicate progress and issues, attend client meetings, and support proposals and business development.
• Serve as project manager on small projects and coordinate or supervise assistant, associate, student, and technical staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or landscape architecture.
• Minimum of six years of related civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Registered Professional Engineer or Landscape Architect credential.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Ability to travel to Nebraska office locations for in-office activities, client meetings, and site visits as needed.
