What you will do

• Build and maintain cost models, perform scenario analysis, and prepare cash flow estimates for the monthly present estimate process.
• Analyze cost and schedule impacts of scope changes and trends, delivering numerical analysis presentations.
• Monitor project budgets and actuals, providing accurate financial reporting and recommending corrective actions.
• Interface with internal and external project teams to support cost control monitoring and reporting.
• Develop and maintain Issue and Risk Registers and perform Cost Quantitative Risk Analyses (QRAs).
• Utilize COGNOS, Power BI, Maximo, and Power Plan to perform data-driven analyses.

Requirements

• B.S. in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience as a Senior Project Cost Analyst.
• Direct cost analysis experience on Utility New Gas Power Plant projects or large ($300M+) Process Industry projects.
• Understanding of commercial agreements, contracting strategies, and the integration of schedules into cost forecasting.
• Proficiency in Cognos, Power BI, Maximo, Power Plan, and Microsoft Office.
• Work location: Onsite in Woodlands, TX.

Nice to have

• MBA or other advanced degree.
• Working knowledge of regulatory agencies such as NERC, MISO, FERC, or Public Service Commissions.
• AACEI Certified Cost Technician or AACEI Certified Cost Professional.
