What you will do
- Identify and close business opportunities for biospecimen services within the assigned region.
- Manage and mentor a team of Business Development Directors to achieve annual sales targets.
- Develop and enhance long-term relationships with key clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and CRO sectors.
- Collaborate with internal operations, marketing, and technical support teams to present feasibility reports and budgets.
- Oversee large account management, including rate card negotiations and discount structures.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and strategic meetings.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of sales experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Proven track record in business development within pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO organizations.
- Experience in sales of biobanking, sample preparation, or specialty lab services.
- Ability to travel up to 35% domestically and internationally.
- English: Fluent proficiency required
