National Account Director (Immunology and Gene Therapy): Implementing a strategic engagement approach for a first-in-class gene therapy for recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP) with an accent on product coverage and access. Location: Remote (US). Candidates should live in close proximity to a large airport hub.

Salary: $22,000 - $250,000 yearly

What you will do

  • Develop and execute Strategic Account Plans to ensure product coverage and access for gene therapy.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Leadership to drive payer account plan pull-through through routine calls and meetings.
  • Deploy value-based healthcare resources to challenge account thinking and improve patient outcomes for RRP.
  • Engage with KOLs, PBMs, National Health Plans, Medicare MACs, and C-Suite administrators.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and provide proactive communication to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize sales support technology such as Salesforce and Veeva to track and optimize performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Minimum 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical payer account management and hospital sales experience.
  • Technical knowledge of health care reimbursement and working knowledge of Gene Therapy, Rare Disease, or Immunology.
  • Expertise in Buy and Bill drug reimbursement dynamics with payers and Medicare MACs.
  • Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time, including overnight travel.

Nice to have

  • Specific experience in Cell and Gene Therapy.
  • Product launch experience, preferably within small to mid-size companies.
