TL;DR

Onboarding Team Leader (Fintech): Overseeing EMEA’s onboarding team and guiding KYC assessments for newly registered clients with an accent on regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. Focus on leading team growth, performing Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and optimizing onboarding workflows to ensure seamless client verification.

Location: Hybrid: Minimum 2-3 days in the office (London, UK)

What you will do

  • Lead, recruit, and develop the local Onboarding Team, conducting regular productivity, SLA, and quality reviews.
  • Manage operational workflows to ensure coverage, reporting, and appropriate escalation management.
  • Perform and accept escalations of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), including AML/CTF checks and KYC analysis.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for various legal entity structures (Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, etc.).
  • Collaborate with global Operations, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure a compliant and speedy service.
  • Analyze functional data to identify areas for improvement and submit compliance reports.

Requirements

  • Experience in Client Due Diligence (CDD), EDD, and fulfilling AML/CTF requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Strong knowledge of AML/CTF regulations, specifically within the UK and EU.
  • Ability to apply a risk-based approach and analyze data to identify trends and issues.
  • Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or CFE.
  • Experience with case management platforms like Salesforce and Moody's.
