What you will do

  • Own the clinical development strategy for the LTx portfolio, ensuring assets reach Phase 2 proof-of-concept efficiently.
  • Design Phase 1 and Phase 2 studies, including dose-escalation, endpoints, and biomarker strategies.
  • Build and direct a virtual organization by recruiting and managing fractional CMC, regulatory, and clinical experts.
  • Lead regulatory interactions with the FDA, EMA, and other agencies.
  • Partner with Corporate Development on asset evaluation, deal structuring, and scientific diligence.
  • Represent the development thesis to investors, partners, and the board.

Requirements

  • Senior clinical development leadership experience in pharma or biotech across multiple non-oncology therapeutic areas.
  • Proven track record of leading programs through Phase 1 and Phase 2, including successful FDA/EMA engagement.
  • Experience developing in-licensed or partnered assets with a focus on exit-oriented clinical and regulatory packages.
  • Ability to build and manage lean, virtual teams of specialists rather than large internal departments.
  • Strong portfolio management skills with the ability to prioritize assets under tight constraints.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools for research, planning, and analysis.
