What you will do
- Lead a team of 12–16 claim handlers, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to meet productivity and quality targets.
- Oversee the end-to-end processing of home emergency insurance claims and approve complex or high-value cases.
- Analyze claims processing metrics and generate performance reports to recommend process improvements.
- Implement quality assurance processes through regular audits and call monitoring to enhance customer experience.
- Resolve escalated customer complaints and develop strategies to improve service standards within the department.
- Ensure the team adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements and stays current with insurance laws.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within insurance claims processing.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex information.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data for strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in claims processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
