What you will do

• Lead field construction activities and oversee maintenance operations across multiple service areas.
• Perform and supervise pole groundline inspections, repairs, and structural restorations.
• Manage field teams, including contractor inspectors and coordinators, to ensure project goals and safety standards are met.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve issues related to transmission, distribution, and substation upgrades.
• Enforce safety protocols and proactively identify hazards to maintain a secure work environment.
• Drive quality assurance by monitoring installations and structural repairs for compliance with technical specifications.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in construction and maintenance of electrical transmission/distribution/substation systems, or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of field experience, or an associate’s degree with 8 years of field experience.
• Professional experience in the construction and maintenance of substation facilities.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity within the specified US locations.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and hazard identification in construction environments.
• Proven ability to manage field teams and coordinate with contractors.

Nice to have

• High-voltage experience and knowledge of electrical theory.
• Switching and tagging experience for projects requiring hold/markup.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• First Aid/AED certification.
• Experience with environmental regulations for construction.
