What you will do
- Lead field construction activities and oversee maintenance operations across multiple service areas.
- Perform and supervise pole groundline inspections, repairs, and structural restorations.
- Manage field teams, including contractor inspectors and coordinators, to ensure project goals and safety standards are met.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve issues related to transmission, distribution, and substation upgrades.
- Enforce safety protocols and proactively identify hazards to maintain a secure work environment.
- Drive quality assurance by monitoring installations and structural repairs for compliance with technical specifications.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in construction and maintenance of electrical transmission/distribution/substation systems, or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of field experience, or an associate’s degree with 8 years of field experience.
- Professional experience in the construction and maintenance of substation facilities.
- Ability to work in a hybrid capacity within the specified US locations.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and hazard identification in construction environments.
- Proven ability to manage field teams and coordinate with contractors.
Nice to have
- High-voltage experience and knowledge of electrical theory.
- Switching and tagging experience for projects requiring hold/markup.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- First Aid/AED certification.
- Experience with environmental regulations for construction.
