Senior Construction Project Engineer (Civil/Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Oversee the technical delivery and construction administration of large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Review construction plans, specifications, contractor submittals, shop drawings, and progress schedules.
• Lead contract modifications, prepare RFP scopes of work, support cost estimates, and evaluate contractor proposals.
• Resolve RFIs, site-condition deficiencies, and technical disputes, and recommend claim resolutions.
• Develop project-specific quality assurance plans, conduct site checks, and monitor milestones and potential delays.
• Verify payment estimates, measured pay items, materials, and percentage-complete metrics.

Requirements

• At least five years of progressively responsible Project Engineer experience in the construction industry.
• Experience reviewing technical submittals, managing RFIs, and handling contract modifications and RFP processes.
• Strong understanding of construction law, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
• Ability to analyze construction plans and specifications, identify lessons learned, and recommend changes for differing site conditions or user requests.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with clients, contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders.
