Salary: $110,000 - $145,000 USD

What you will do

• Own the vehicle data roadmap, including CAN/J1939/OBD-II data capture and normalization.
• Drive the Vehicle Data Service (VDS) roadmap, integrating ADAS features and alert decoration frameworks.
• Partner with internal stakeholders in safety, analytics, and compliance to ensure platform needs are met.
• Define and execute OEM integration strategies to expand vehicle data coverage.
• Establish and maintain vehicle data contracts, schemas, and delivery mechanisms.
• Translate requirements into PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of industry experience with at least 3 years in product management.
• Demonstrated experience with vehicle data systems, specifically CAN bus protocols (J1939, OBD-II).
• Strong ability to work with specialized engineering teams to define technical requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be able to work onsite in San Diego, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with ADAS systems or OEM safety platform integration.
• Experience in a platform-oriented PM role serving internal consumers.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
