Product Manager (Automotive)

Location: Warren, Michigan, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the local office and 2 days remote.

What you will do

• Create, manage, and deliver the feature backlog for the OnStar Guardian mobile app.
• Define and execute product vision, strategy, roadmap, requirements, user stories, and use cases.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, marketing, sales, senior product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
• Prioritize features based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility while tracking OKRs and KPIs.
• Manage product launches, coordinate go-to-market activities, evaluate post-launch performance, and iterate based on feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager, Automotive Engineer, Design Engineer, or in a related role.
• At least 3 years of experience with MATLAB and Simulink models, autogenerated C code, and Embedded C.
• Experience with Git, ETAS INCA, ETAS MDA, GT-Power, and the SAFe methodology.
• Experience developing control algorithms for Thermal Management Systems, performing DFMEA, and supporting TMS and GDI testing.
• Experience with MIL, SIL, PIL, and HIL software verification, as well as dynamometer and in-vehicle rough calibration and validation.
