Salary: $76,000 - $104,000 per year

What you will do

• Conduct site visits to determine scope and enable designs for gas and electric facilities.
• Coordinate with customers to identify design limitations and prepare service orders and work orders.
• Apply design and engineering principles for overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Analyze site-specific obstacles and propose design options to stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations on scope identification, regulations, and standards.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience working on utility distribution system projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, MS Office, Smartsheet, and SAP.
• Practical experience as a Designer (Overhead, Underground, or Gas).
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Diego, CA.

Nice to have

• Ability to substitute for Project Managers in meetings and communicate design decisions.
• Experience managing design files and functional organization of iterations.
