Development Engineer (Data Centers)

Salary: $90,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Execute development engineering design activities and system performance modeling.
• Coordinate across electrical, civil, and structural disciplines for preliminary designs (0–30%).
• Act as a technical liaison between internal design teams, business development, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to company and client QA/QC standards.
• Support proposal teams with pricing and pre-sales technical communication.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of departmental performance analysis tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of engineering or relevant technical experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of electrical and civil engineering principles.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Commercial understanding of the engineering or construction industries.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience supporting feasibility studies or early-stage project planning.
• Background in consulting, EPC, or design-build environments.
