TL;DR

Housing Officer (ASB): Managing and resolving anti-social behaviour cases to ensure safe and harmonious communities with an accent on conflict resolution, community engagement, and tenancy management. Location: Must be based in Romford, UK. This is a front-line, onsite role requiring daily office or site attendance.

Salary: £39,276–£42,771 per annum.

What you will do

  • Investigate and manage anti-social behaviour complaints according to established policies.
  • Liaise with residents, local authorities, and external agencies to resolve community issues.
  • Conduct regular estate inspections to identify and address potential ASB hotspots.
  • Maintain accurate records of all ASB cases and actions taken.
  • Provide support and guidance to residents impacted by anti-social behaviour.

Requirements

  • Must have a full UK driving license and a vehicle to use for work.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in social housing or equivalent transferable skills.
  • Proven track record of success in ASB management or knowledge.
  • Knowledge of tenancy and leasehold management.
  • Familiarity with the Policing and Crime Act 2017 and Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and housing management software.

Nice to have

  • Degree or housing qualification such as CIH.
