Safety Advisor

TL;DR

Safety Advisor: Providing expert safety advice across the hirify.global to support teams in managing risk effectively in a fast-paced creative environment. Location: Hybrid, must be based at one of the Tier 1 offices (London, Cardiff, Birmingham, Salford, Glasgow, Belfast).

Salary: £43,000–£47,000.

What you will do

• Provide high-quality safety advice via the Safety Advice Line and advisory services.
• Support production and business teams in identifying risks and implementing proportionate controls.
• Ensure operational activities remain compliant with safety legislation and internal policies.
• Conduct incident investigations to identify root causes and drive timely improvements.
• Utilize safety data and insights to support informed decision-making.

Requirements

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent health and safety qualification required.
• Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and risk management principles.
• Experience delivering practical safety advice within a complex organization.
• Proficiency in using safety data to develop clear and workable solutions.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and training delivery skills.
• Excellent Microsoft 365 skills (Planner, Teams, Co-Pilot).

Nice to have

• Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH).
• Experience supporting media, production, or events-based environments.
• Experience in incident investigation and causation analysis.
• Recognized training qualification (e.g., Train the Trainer).
