Vice President, Renewable Energy Tax Equity Relationship Banker (Renewable Energy)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio; position available at a hirify.global corporate office location. Workplace type: Office.

Salary: $70,000–$175,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

hirify.global National Bank is a corporate banking organization with a Renewable Energy Finance team within its Project Finance and Infrastructure group.

What you will do

• Support the sourcing and development of renewable energy transaction opportunities and sponsor or developer relationships.
• Assist senior relationship managers with renewable energy financing opportunities for existing and prospective clients.
• Lead pre-commitment diligence and support financial, commercial, and technical due diligence.
• Structure competitive and profitable proposals using debt and tax equity financing structures.
• Build and review complex sale-leaseback financial models, including Section 467 depreciation and cash or income waterfalls.
• Lead transaction document negotiations and closing processes, while coordinating with HNB Operations and supporting post-closing requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in project finance, tax equity, equipment finance, or renewable energy banking.
• Deep understanding of renewable energy tax equity regulation, IRC Section 48 Investment Tax Credits, and IRS rules for equipment lease transactions.
• Strong structuring, negotiation, documentation, organizational, analytical, and due diligence skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong working experience with ABC pricing software.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to travel.
