What you will do

• Monitor, coordinate, and enforce construction compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Perform daily field inspections to ensure adherence to approved plans and specifications.
• Manage office staff responsible for record keeping, general correspondence, and drafting deliverables.
• Monitor contractor performance, schedules, and effectiveness to maintain project goals regarding cost and quality.
• Manage the contractor payment process and recommend necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate effectively with various contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• B.S. or higher degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in the field.
• Must be able to obtain PE Licensure and/or CCM within 24 months.
• Experience in construction management specifically for water and wastewater facilities (collection, treatment, and distribution).
• Ability to perform physically demanding field work, including climbing, lifting 40+ lbs, and enduring extreme temperatures.

Nice to have

• CMIT certification.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level 1 or ODOT Prequalified Inspector designations.
• High proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
• Experience with construction inspection equipment and field testing of materials.
