Location: Must be based in or able to report to the office in Concord, North Carolina (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

What you will do

• Create highly parametric surfaces for vehicle aerodynamics and thermal development.
• Convert CAD models into clean, CFD-friendly assemblies for high-fidelity meshing.
• Design mechanical parts for aerodynamics and cooling physical testing.
• Collaborate with the global design studio on styling and class-A surface development.
• Coordinate the release, manufacturing, and assembly of test parts.
• Participate in planning and conducting physical tests in wind tunnels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years of experience as a Design Engineer (or 2 years with a Master’s degree).
• 5 years of experience with complex parametric surface/solid development in Catia and NX.
• 5 years of experience creating and interpreting 2D drawings, including GD&T and tolerance stacks.
• 3 years of experience in production environment part release (casting, 3D printing, CNC, sheet metal).
• 1 year of experience in racing aerodynamic surface development and electronic instrumentation.
