What you will do

  • Create simulation studies using Process Simulate on Teamcenter (Tecnomatix).
  • Program and maintain industrial robotic systems, including Kuka, ABB, FANUC, and Yaskawa.
  • Generate optimal assembly sequences and validate reach, access, and interference-free motions.
  • Troubleshoot automation systems to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to improve next-generation robotic platforms.
  • Maintain technical documentation and mentor team members on robotics systems operation.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lawfully access information subject to US export controls.
  • Mechanical Engineering degree or 6+ years of experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing.
  • 1+ years of robotic simulation studies or 2+ years of hands-on industrial robot programming.
  • Proficiency in CAD (preferably NX) and simulation tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work physically on the manufacturing floor for long durations.
  • Strong critical thinking and data-driven problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of robotics simulation experience.
  • Expertise in optimizing collision-free motion paths and system layouts.
  • Experience with vision systems, adhesive systems, material removal, welding, or fastening.
  • Background in manufacturing automation within automotive or aerospace environments.
