What you will do

• Set up and operate advanced multi-axis CNC mills (3-axis, 3+2, and 5-axis) to produce high-precision components.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles to ensure stringent quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining challenges, including tool wear, fixture alignment, and programming errors.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback on part manufacturability.
• Develop and refine machining strategies, tooling, and fixturing to maximize productivity.
• Maintain accurate documentation of machining processes, tool setups, and program adjustments.

Requirements

• Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
• Proficiency in Siemens and Heidenhain controllers.
• Strong understanding and application of GD&T in precision manufacturing.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes.
• Experience in the creation and implementation of dynamic work offsets for complex setups.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Torrance, CA.

• Experience machining components produced through additive manufacturing.
