What you will do

• Partner with the CEO to develop and execute organizational strategic plans and operational goals.
• Optimize processes across functional areas including R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance.
• Ensure full compliance with FDA, GMP, and other industry-specific regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the CFO to manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and major investment ROI.
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Represent the company to external stakeholders, investors, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) in Business, Life Sciences, or Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of operational management experience, including 5+ years in a senior executive (VP/C-suite) role.
• Proven success managing operations in FDA-regulated or GMP environments.
• Experience in biotechnology or life sciences industry.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Rockville, Maryland.
