Chief of Staff, CEO

Location: Raleigh, NC, United States. Hybrid role requiring in-office work three days per week and travel.

Salary: USD $203,000–$244,000 base annually, plus a bonus target and equity.

What you will do

• Drive strategic planning, annual thematic goals, quarterly OKRs, and the company operating cadence.
• Own complex, high-impact cross-functional problems from root-cause analysis through measurable outcomes.
• Translate CEO and executive priorities into coordinated action, accountability, and delivery.
• Prepare clear narratives and decision-ready materials for board, investor, executive, and other high-stakes meetings.
• Lead executive team meetings and offsites, facilitating focused discussion, debate, and decision-making.

Requirements

• Progressive experience in technology, top-tier consulting, investing, or another high-performance environment.
• Direct experience partnering with a founder, CEO, or senior executive and owning enterprise-level initiatives from strategy through implementation.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable cross-functional business outcomes in complex senior-stakeholder environments.
• Strong understanding of product, go-to-market, customer experience, finance, and operations.
• Exceptional strategic judgment, analytical ability, executive presence, and communication skills.
• Ability to use AI tools as a multiplier for work, preparation, communication, and thinking.

• Experience across multiple company stages, from early growth through scaled operations.
• Combination of consulting, investing, or strategy experience with hands-on operating leadership.
• Experience with enterprise transformation, operating-model design, product-led growth, or multi-product SaaS.
