Vice President, Operations (Healthcare)

Salary: $171,900–$326,900 per year

What you will do

• Oversee business operations, procurement opportunities, new product implementations, and complex business development initiatives.
• Partner with business-unit, corporate, and external stakeholders to establish strategic objectives, policies, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with state contracts, laws, regulations, executive orders, and Arkansas legislative oversight requirements.
• Direct operational work processes and systems across multiple departments and manage budgets, revenue targets, and Profit & Loss.
• Lead new business implementations, procurement activities, RFP responses, and evaluations of program opportunities and ROI.
• Oversee operational issues across Ambetter, Medicare, Arkansas Total Care, and QualChoice lines of business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
• 9+ years of experience in operations, management, or administration within the healthcare or insurance industry.
• Experience managing strategic operations, budgets, revenue targets, and Profit & Loss.
• Knowledge of state legislative and regulatory processes, including operational responses to Arkansas agencies and oversight bodies.
• Experience leading cross-functional stakeholders, business implementations, procurement, or complex initiatives.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Business development or Request for Proposal experience.
