What you will do

• Develop detailed fire alarm system designs using CAD and Revit.
• Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national fire codes.
• Perform site surveys to evaluate building features and existing systems.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project presentations.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and AHJs to integrate fire alarm systems.
• Manage technical and financial project performance, including budgets and scheduling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fire alarm system design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong understanding of NFPA and local fire codes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with mass notification or integrated life safety solutions.

Nice to have

• NICET Level III or IV certification in Fire Alarm Systems.
• Professional Licensure in Electrical or Fire Protection Engineering.
