Behavioral Health Group (BHG) provides medication-assisted treatment and counseling for opioid addiction in outpatient settings.

What you will do

• Deliver individualized, multidisciplinary patient support using evidence-based interventions and motivational approaches.
• Help patients identify underlying mental/physical health needs and pursue treatment to support recovery.
• Teach and model skills for interpersonal/social, family, community, and independent living; support recovery goals and relapse prevention.
• Provide education on substance use disorders (symptoms, triggers, cravings) and assist with adherence to prescribed medication regimens.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient strengths, progress, and barriers; update and support individual treatment/rehabilitation plans.
• Document services provided and coordinate referrals, including emergency support for financial, medical, and housing assistance.

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science in Human Services or Behavioral Health from an approved institution (required).
• Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License (required).
• Experience providing one-on-one or group services focused on rehabilitation/habilitation and recovery/resiliency (or equivalent experience supporting coping with psychiatric/developmental/substance abuse issues, employment/education, and functioning in families/communities).
• Knowledge of the substance abuse population, treatment planning, and human social services to support patient rehabilitation.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work independently under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
• Basic computer/word processing skills.
