What you will do

• Provide practical support, mentoring, and advocacy to patients in their recovery journey.
• Educate patients and families on mental illness and addiction.
• Assist patients in setting and achieving recovery goals and joining self-help groups.
• Teach problem-solving techniques and support vocational and social skills development.
• Collaborate with treatment teams on recovery plans and report necessary data.
• Connect patients with community resources and help combat stigma.

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in behavioral health required.
• Peer Recovery or Peer Recovery Coach certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and handle confidential issues.
• Effective communication skills for phone and in-person interactions.
