What you will do
- Provide leadership to the sales team and direct the hiring and training of new representatives.
- Coordinate all sales activities and develop business plans to meet organizational goals.
- Consult with potential customers to understand needs and suggest appropriate products or services.
- Prepare sales budgets, projections, and approve expenditures.
- Track and analyze sales statistics based on key performance metrics.
- Resolve customer complaints and represent the company at trade association meetings.
Requirements
- Must be based in or near Smithfield, RI.
- Bachelor’s degree in a science (Biology, Biochemistry, or Chemistry) or engineering area preferred.
- 7+ years of sales experience.
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills with excellent negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
