Salary: $224,000–$325,000 per annum (for US-based candidates)

What you will do

• Own first-line contract reviews for NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, and other commercial matters to eliminate dependency on external counsel.
• Develop and operationalize a legal intake and prioritization process across Sales, Finance, RevOps, and Security.
• Build a practical contract playbook with clause libraries and fallback positions to reduce deal cycle friction.
• Improve enterprise deal predictability by ensuring legal is no longer a bottleneck for standard and mid-complexity deals.
• Establish commercial legal infrastructure, including templates and approval matrices, to Series B/C maturity standards.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years PQE, ideally with a blend of law firm and in-house SaaS experience.
• Strong expertise in B2B SaaS and enterprise software contracting, including negotiating customer-provided paper.
• Deep understanding of MSAs, DPAs, SLAs, security addenda, and procurement terms.
• Practical knowledge of GDPR, privacy laws, and data processing obligations.
• Ability to identify and negotiate IP and product-use restrictions, including AI/ML limitations.
• Must be based in the US, UK, or other supported jurisdictions (CA, EU).

Nice to have

• Background in developer tools, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or cybersecurity.
• Experience with AWS Marketplace or other cloud marketplaces.
• Experience working with public sector or highly regulated customers.
• Familiarity with equity, corporate governance, employment law, and fundraising.
• Experience implementing CLM or quote-to-contract tooling.
